Anyone Catch ISU's Home Opening Baseball Webcast Today?

Comments? I don't subscribe to cable TV anymore (antenna only - 20+ stations is enough).

I was able to catch the last two innings when I got home from work.

I watched some of it on computer stream while also checking basketball games left & right. Field looked good & camera view better than some other schools offer that I check with from time to time. Muted the sound & followed the live stats line as too much talking going on; will probably rival ISU student handling of basketball for quality on that front. Nice to have what we can get though for those of us who won't get to see many if any at the stadium.

View couldn't be any worse than that @ Washington, where the plate must've been 30-35 yds. from a single cam behind the backstop. There were numerous plays down the RF & LF lines that you couldn't see...nothing like a lil' mystery while watching a game! The announcer was good, but the EYES sure help following the game, thus lending comparative analyses re: the action.

Dong a lil' homework...ISU Baseball broadcaster is LUKE MARTIN, the voice of ISU Women's Basketball. I like his style...good flow, but it would be nice to add lil' "guest commentary" to reflect on PAST ISU/MVC/NCAA Baseball history and other ISU "miscellaneous." MTW, Martin is a Ball State grad.

***Also note that the LOUD NUISANCE Rap & Rock has disappeared between innings, returning to the ol' organ format. Just think, fans can now TALK ABOUT THE GAME to each other.:slapfight:
