Three-Finger retired...

And where is HOFer (and TH native) Mordecai Brown?

about 20 years before the All-Star game was created...
Here are Indiana's (Indiana born) All-Stars, their MLB career length, years, All-Star selections AND their 'hometown'
The hometown isn't completely accurate; i.e. Scott Rolen is FROM Jasper, he was probably born in Evansville...
Gil Hodges is FROM Petersburg, he was born in/near Princeton...

While Rolen might've been born in E-ville, he was "nurtured" (since age 3) in Jasper, hence their claim to Rolen:

Very much the same story for Gil Hodges, born in Princeton but "nurtured" in Petersburg:

While playing various sports for Castle HS back in the late 60's, I recall our coach taking us to downtown E-ville and Gus Doerner's (THE SW IN sporting goods hotspot...similar to TH's McMillan's). Doerner was a close friend of Hodges (only 20 miles separates Doerner's hometown of Mackey from Petersburg on Hwy 57) and obviously, had some if the best baseball bats around.
