Ya have to love it... THIS has to be one of the DUMBEST things I've EVER found on the Indy Star!

Good grief! Also have to wonder why the Star only chose 4 Indiana natives for this 'Indiana's MLB All-Stars' when there are 26 all-time (Indiana-born) All-Stars, 10 of which have made more than 1 All-Star game

The hometown isn't completely accurate; i.e. Scott Rolen is FROM Jasper, he was probably born in Evansville...

While Rolen might've been born in E-ville, he was "nurtured" (since age 3) in Jasper, hence their claim to Rolen:

While playing various sports for Castle HS back in the late 60's, I recall our coach taking us to downtown E-ville and Gus Doerner's (THE SW IN sporting goods hotspot...similar to TH's McMillan's). Doerner was a close friend of Hodges (only 20 miles separates Doerner's hometown of Mackey from Petersburg on Hwy 57) and obviously, had some if the best baseball bats around.
