Is anyone planning on going to one or more games of this? We played Texas-Pan American on 11/12, Loyola on 11/13 and Eastern Kentucky on 11/14. I'm thinking of trying to make a couple of the games, but I'm still unsure as I can't find ticket prices anywhere.

Alright, found tickets. I'm going to be going to Day 2 and 3. Can't swing Day 1 as I wouldn't be able to get up to Chicago in time for the game.

Day 1: http://loyolaramblers.tix.com/Event.asp?Event=279137
Day 2: http://loyolaramblers.tix.com/Event.asp?Event=279139
Day 3: http://loyolaramblers.tix.com/Event.asp?Event=279141

Good tickets are still available. I selected best available in the green sections and will be sitting in the D section. I'm in Section D, Row 1, Seats 7-10 on Day 2 and D1, Seats 5-8 on Day 3.

Might be able to get to day 2, but looking hard at day 3.
I just talked the wife into making it a mini vacay. We'll probably stay overnight and let the kids swim at the hotel and then do a little shopping downtown -- or at least window shop.

Will definitely visit Giordano's Pizza. Mmm.

I am also thinking of going to day 2 and 3. I have some family in Chi-town, so I can kill two birds with one stone. Is Loyola any good this year?

From reading preview mags, Loyola is supposed to be the middle of the three behind Eastern Kentucky and ahead of Texas-Pan American. Last year they were 14-16 and finished 8th in the Horizon League. They return all of their top scorers and they are a pretty upperclassmen dominated team.

Has anyone found any great deals on rooms? Right now, I'm leaning toward an Indiana casino...I think. I've never spent much time up there, but we're going.

I'm thinking about going. If anyone finds a decent hotel in a decent area let us know. I have no idea where to stay.

Are you guys going to do anything else? Usually when we go, we stay downtown or our in Schaumburg because the wife likes the additional (window) shopping options. If you're looking to stay close to Loyola, it looks like Evanston to the North, Wrigleyville to the South or dive motels along US41 to the West are your options.

I imagine my Saturday up until gametime will be spent shopping.

Well I'd recommend Schaumburg or downtown myself. I'm hoping we do downtown this time myself because I love making it over to the ESPN Zone.

I reserved a room at the Raddison by O'Hare. MapQuest says about 15-17 miles from arena and downtown. I couldn't find much downtown that wasn't full or outrageous in price.

That works. You can also hit the Loyola campus from there in one shot. I believe it is Devon Ave.
