Senior All-American Joshua Appel and wide receiver Robert Tonyan Jr. have been named as members of the Missouri Valley Football Conference's Preseason All-Conference team, the Valley announced Tuesday morning.

Jameer Thurman should also be on that list. Ridiculous.

There are a couple others who should have been on there as well!

I see we are picked below SIU who fired there coach and finished 3-8 overall and 2-6 in the Valley. Hopefully the men can prove them wrong like in 2014.

The one that kills me is YSU. At some point don't they need to make the playoffs and prove there rankings to be valid. We beat them the last two years.

The logic is flawless. They are YSU and we are ISU-Blue. ' nuff said! What's that? Me being sarcastic--well maybe occasionally.

We've beaten YSU 4 of the past 6 years. They dominated us for decades, the tide has turned, but the voters haven't caught up with that yet

Agree --- we'll need a couple more strong seasons before the voters agree we're the real deal.

Pretty sure our series record (vs MVFC programs) are .500 or sub .500...

do we hold a series lead over any conf rival?
