If Larry Bird actually drafts this kid, he will be another Ron Artest.
Armon Bassett couldn't hold Ron Artest's jock strap and never will be able to.
If Bassett can be the next Ron Artest, be that good and last as long in the NBA, he'll be incredibly fortunate. I get the comparison you were going for Landrus, but to be the next Ron Artest wouldn't be a bad thing. As crazy as Artest is, he's a great player.
Can I throw an idea or opinion out real quick that's a little insane????
So...alot of people say that these two teams really arent that good...I disagree...that Lakers team has 5 players who would be first or second options on every other team in the NBA including the Celtics lol....I think the sensationalizing of past athletes is really hurting the legacies of current ones...
Gasol is a bit overrated.QUOTE]
How is Pau Gasol overrated? He can pass, shoot from the outside (15-18 feet), finish with either hand better than any big guy in the game, rebound, pretty good defender, and can block a few shots. He does play soft sometimes but I don't see how he is overrated.

Yeah people forget Artest is actually kind of soft to be honest lol...he's the most flagrant flopper in NBA history...Rajon Rondo put a hand on him the other night and he went flying into the 8th row like it was detroit lol...
I'm not saying Gasol isn't good. He's just overrated. He's not the premier big man in the game. I can think of at least a half dozen others that are better. Before going to the Lakers he had six strong, but not superstar seasons with the Grizzlies (one all-star game). I think one can easily argue that he's not nearly so great on another team. A number one? Sure, probably, he was in Memphis, but he wasn't good enough to make them a good team.
