Here is what I posted: If Austin Collie keeps playing, does he opt out of being able to sue the NFL for concussions like everyone else?

Expanded question. If not, shouldn't he be? Should the NFL step in and put a concussion limit on players before they're forced to retire? What should the NFL do to protect itself financially from the next generation of lawsuits since today's player is bigger, faster, stronger?
 
First off I hate this for Austin. Have been able to meet him a couple of times and he's very down to Earth and fan friendly. I personally think the NFL should have a limit on player concussions. What would be the limit I don't know but at some point the NFL needs too as unpopular of a move as it would be and force these guys to call it a career and to air on the side of safety. It's just not worth it and there are endless accounts to prove it.
