Is Sycamore baseball at home and conference on the road going to be on ESPN3 this upcoming season or is it not until next year? Heard something about having to run fiber optic wiring to the ballpark and it is not done yet?

Next year, as far as home games are concerned. Only the mvc tourney will be on ESPN3.

They've re-graded the 1B line batting cage area, adding new surface white rock. Noticed a couple weeks ago the underground fiber optic wiring rolls, so they'll probably have this done by home season start. Wonder if they'll add any LF bleachers in prep for MVC Post-season Tournament? Last couple seasons, they've delayed bringing RF bleachers in from the X-C course until 75% of the home season has concluded. :whack:

well if its in the newspaper it has to be right........that or the internet...........right?
I like BANKSHOT's report better.

I sent an E-mail to Coach Hannah's so well see...at the very least, they should have a radio webcast (let's hope). I'll drive by Warn Field TODAY and see "wazzup" for the Dawgs...

In picture 5, are those the same bleachers that have always been in place, or are they new ones?

Looks like the same one that's always shuttled between the X-C Course & Baseball Field. They brought it back last Fall for a Homecoming 3-inning Friday night scrimmage/cookout & just left them, since we didn't host X-C Nationals this year. I hope they bring in some 3B bleachers for the MVC Tournament. Fans like to "bounce around" and get different angles during a game, especially given the changing position of the sun. Also convenient to offer refreshment stands on BOTH the RF & LF lines. Don't know why they don't knock a hole on the INSIDE WALL of the current room. Common sense was never a strong suit of ISU sport architects.

BTW...paid for my ISU Baseball season ticket today @ HC. They don't have any MVC Baseball Post-Season Tickets...weren't even aware that ISU was hosting this Spring.:whiteflag:

"not aware"..................hm typical TO response. Thought things might have changed but should know better. By the way when they find out that they will be selling MVC tourney tickets do you think they will have enough sense not to send the prime seat tickets to Wichita, Springfield etc. ? You know they can go ahead & cash the checks but no rush in mailing the tickets until 10 days or so ahead of tournament.

Seriously, did you expect anything other than this in February?

Seriously the season starts in 10 days and price for the various ticket packages AND for the Valley tourney are listed on GoSycamores.com. Why the hell don't the people that are supposed to be selling them know about it?

That's what puzzeled me...the Angie Lansing updated memo re: 2016 Baseball Tickets - yet I couldn't purchase the MVC Post-Season because they knew nothing about it? Just another example of the limbs of the Athletic Dept. not being in sync.

Mitch just confirmed...won't be ready until the MVC Post-season in mid-May. Spring, 2017 will be the 1st full season of ESPN3 ISU hardball.

Hopefully the rest of the Valley has their ducks in order so we can view the road games anyway?
