The story OMITS the fact that Birch Bayh, SR, in ADDITION to be a championship Coach and Athletic Director was ALSO a GRADUATE of State.

Probably a very nice display. State needs to KEEP IMPROVING their ties / connections to famous/well-known Alumni!
BTW --- Bruce Baumgardner had a radio piece this week on the (possible) removal of wrestling in the Olympics.
Bruce was part of a delegation to the IOC to petition for RETENTION of wrestling in the Olympic Games.
