I recall "back in the dayz" attending the NCSS Convention(s) and sampling product from numerous vendors...there's a few illegitimate social studies materials floating around in the TEACHING WORLD, often poorly scrutinized/edited by selected collegiate "profe$$or$" claiming expertise in the field!:seestars:
Many of these texts have "hidden" agenda(s) or ideological platforms, hoping to shape a child's perception of life. Again, it's all related to the "Freedom of Education" in America. If a community is dominated by Muslims and desires to "slant" Christianity, there's not much you can do about it, except RELOCATE.
