Does anyone know if anything is being planned by State? If not, is anyone interested in getting together somewhere prior to the game?

Obviously, the answer is yes. Good grief, Jason, this was only announced yesterday. As I said in the other Butler thread, they have been done a pre-game in the past and I am certain that it will be done this time as well. We have had a pre-game party for every game at Butler as far back as I remember. Look for some kind of word coming out from the Alumni office and pretty soon, as we are less than a month away and that means we have little time to work with. Hopefully the local alumni group is on it. If I was doing it, we would already have Moe and Johnny's booked.
 
We can meet at my stepson's place, Gatsbys.....

On 71st Street before and after the game. That's what I'm planning on doing.

I don't believe the Indy alumni group is functioning. I haven't been invited to a meeting or happy hour in over a year. Not sure, but think Jaime just gave up on it? Certainly didn't help that there was ZERO support from the Alumni Association in getting anything accomplished. We'll see.

I have heard nothing from her or anyone else, for that matter. That said, I guarantee you that SOMETHING will be done before the game. We have had such tremendous success in the past, I know they will organize some kind of function. I'll get a hold of Charlie.
 
Boda, Charlie say that the A.A. and Nate Green are working on it. Trust me, it will get done. I'll let you know what they come up with.
 
I am sure they are aware that we have to move quickly. If this was 2 years ago, I would have it done already.

I know they do NOT want a bar (w/smoking therefore no kids). I asked Charlie about Moe and Johnny's figuring that might be a turnkey set up but they want a family friendly establishment. Even thought about TJ'S new favorite bar, Gastby's but it also is no kids. So the wait is on. Time is not our friend right now. When I hear I will let you know ASAP.
