Calvin Burnett Snags MVFC Special Forces Player Of The Week Honors

Indiana State junior cornerback Calvin Burnett added to his list of accomplishments in 2012 as he was named the Missouri Valley Football Conference "Special Forces" Player Of The Week following his efforts as a punt returner in the 45-14 victory over South Dakota on October 27.

Great to see Calvin get this honor. He had to step in to this role with the injuries we have and he did excellent. He's also had an outstanding year at cornernback for us. I absolutely love watching our defense play this year and Calvin is one of the main reasons.
