It isn't only seniors who move on. Underclassmen/women also leave for greener pastures to where they fit in better and can get more playing time. The overall numbers of players who do this is truly amazing.

I think you are correct. Women get a good deal. It's especially good in softball. I believe softball and baseball get the same number of schollies but a baseball team has 2-3 times as many players.
If that's correct, I only counted 11 players coming back next year, which would leave 4 open scholies. Just thought I'd go count when I read the brewing storm on here...
