Lets hope it is not true.
Let's face it.....ANY publication out there will be throwing his name around as we continue to move up the ladder of success. I wouldn't make too much out of it because frankly we should be worrying about THIS season only for now because we know he is not leaving during the season. Then we can worry about whether he stays or not. It is most likely inevidable that he will eventually leave but I have said this before, I am glad that Angie has a high level job at Indiana State because that would add another factor to the decision-making process if they would go elsewhere.

What is the point of posting this? This type of speculation is not needed for it serves no useful purpose but to give our opponents fuel to use against us. Why was a link to this thread put on twitter?

Our Twitter feed is automated aside from stuff I retweet or manually post.

That said, it is a legit topic for conversation. If analysts are going to talk about it, members have the right to post and discuss. If Lansing keeps winning, this is going to be a hot button issue.

Find let's start listing schools he might be considered for, let's fan the flame a little bit more for the rest of the MVC.

If Lansing wasn't doing a good job he wouldn't be talked about. I'll bet the folks over at Carbondale would be overjoyed if anyone was talking "favorably" about Lowery. It goes with the territory and I would always like to be in the position of having a coach people want and not one that nobody does. Even though he doesn't get the big big bucks here his family salary and standard of living stands pretty tall in this area and there's something to be said about a job stress level too vs that of a BCS major player. Much better to be in a position to hire another coach because the one leaving was too successful and not because he was fired because he was not.

Lansing.

He'll either be a lifer, like Mark Few...or he'll be courted until he eventually becomes the head coach at a bigger program.

In the meantime, I'm gonna do my best to stay away from all threads that talk about his future (with the exception of this one posting).
