I have a few points...If Drake is considered that high I Would expect we will be top 60. Secondly, SDSU checked in on that top 44 so I would expect we will top 30...

These have been pretty good previews so far...very in-depth. I'm looking forward to seeing where ISU is on this list.

Maybe I am some imbecile, but I am much more confident in this years frontcourt than last years...between kitch gant and mahurin I think we will be ok...
 
Hope you're all right. I hear Gant has been struggling in workouts, and I don't think RJ needs to play the 5 ever. We are banking a lot on Kitchell being good for the next four years............. I trust the staff's judgment on this.

I think ranking #68 is completely respectable, even being picked third doesn't sound like an insult...and when was the last time we were ever predicted in the pre-season to go to the NIT (or NCAA)...2001, right?

With that said, looking forward to proving them wrong with a 2012 MVC Championship.

I agree RJ should never play the 5 other than sparingly if we are in foul trouble or against a team where it creates a huge matchup problem, but you have heard Gant has struggled in workouts? I have heard he is holding his own talent wise but he just needs to keep getting stronger, and yes the staff has put a lot of faith in kitchell being our 5 starting in 2012. Im ok with that though because he will be a redshirt SO. So with 3 years in the program he should be stong enough and ready to take over the starting spot.
 
This is the first time in a long time that we have been ranked in double digits. In the past couple of years we have been in the 115 or so area in this or similar polls. That said, I was hoping for 50-60 range but I guess it will have to be "show me" time again for the naysayers? There are a lot of "name" teams ranked below us for sure.
