Woops...didn't see this thread until after I posted my little dig in Ye Olde Sycamore Pub...
When I first turned on the game the bears were leading 15-6 and things started going south...all the sudden it was 15-13 and momentum seemed to have changed. Thank God the defense for the Bears showed up. I still think it will be a long season for my Bears but this win will make things a little better for the time being...

As happens at all levels, one team "brought game" and the other just expected to win by showing up?

I'd say that's a fair assessment...Colts appear to have been blindsided. I doubt the Panthers (Bears foe next week) will looking past the Bears thinking that the W was in the books already after yesterday.
