Scott - Foot Injury?

What is your pain 1 to 10?

How long are you going to cross train?

Hope it gets better soon man... Get that thing ALL cleared up before the season starts I know your a freakin warrior and all but let that baby heal!

Yea there is pain but its manageable. As long as I'm running I'm happy so I hope it will keep getting better and better.

Keep cross training kid... Let that thing get a good little break! You will be alright - everyone knows your ass is a baller when it counts!

Keep your head up man - things will work out for you!

Late start to summer training

Ok, I know that you do not like that your not being able to run right now, but it seems like every summer you have had to sit out the first month or so due to injury/surgery. Do you think that has helped/hurt you out in the long run of the season?

I know we've talked about this before, but i just thought it'd be interesting for others to hear some of your thoughts

Well it's hard to tell whether it is helpful or hurtful, because for the past 3 seasons I haven't been able to train in May and June, so the question is: if I was training in these months, could I be better? I think I am smart enough train intelligently in these months and not have it affect the end of my season andI was ready to do that, but now I am set back again. But like you said, it didn't hurt last year, so I'll be fine.

SKeeney can we get an update on the foot? How is it feeling? You been doing alright - you are in the Haute all summer and I never hear from you... lol I know you have been working hard at the hospital and all but still, hit a brother up! You want to go on a tour of the new hospital? When?

Hey Keeney, thanks again for letting me and the guys stay at your apartment for Hawthorne. But good luck with getting healthy man, I know you'll be there when it matters most, keep up the good work sir.

Hot as hell!

You see that boys - I went on a run with Scott and Sullivan and Josh last night... Who said I was going to quit running after college? I picked the hottest day of the summer to run with these guys and it was rough...

I am going to be honest I didn't realize how quickly I could fall out of shape. I play bball a couple times a week and have been running a couple times, but boy all 170 lbs of me felt out of shape as heck!

Thanks for letting me join you guys though!

Hey Keeney... wouldn't it be less work if you just posted a link to your running2win site? Then everyone could just go to the link and check out your log instead of you having to put it in two places every day.

Just my $0.02

Nope - that is not why I created this function... The idea is soon to purchase sycamorerunner.com either directing everyone back to this site or another NEW website dedicated to Sycamore Cross Country and Track.

I mean people posts blogs on Indiana Runner and they don't link directly to another site for mere convince... It's the same concept, we are trying to promote the site not another site - we are Sycamores!!!!!

Scott,

Even more important it's freakin July. That's a pretty solid run man and you were kind of sick this past week, were you not? Not that you would want or need me to make any excuses for you.

Yea I was sick for a couple of days at the end of last week. Thanks Morgan, yea I am happy with the race, it is still very early in the year of course and so I am ready to get the season started!

Hey Scott. How did you do the route for that run today? Straight out and back along Arms, w/-w/o the hill, loop around campus? Just wondering how it matched up the run's Harding & I used to do on Sunday's for 12

I took a left on the levee fork that you would do if you were to do levee loop backwards. Then from there I took a left and did the little road loop that has the two big hills on it. I was only in St. Mary's for a couple of minutes then turned around at 40 minutes.
