Bellarmine had far more talent & were up by 16 @ half. Watson must've struck a match under a few USI rear ends at halftime!

Now they'll play in front of a home crowd @ Ford Center next week.

You mentioned the possibility of Terre Haute hosting the Div II Finals @ the renovated HC w/Casino. I think it's a great marketing tool IF TH could outbid E-ville. Great location for Div II teams & fans!

Evansville is an amazing place. I love it. I wish Terre Haute were Evansville and that the Hulman Center was the Ford Center. Man then we'd have it all...
 
Interesting that USI will be playing West Texas A&M. For those who are unaware West Texas A&M was once known as West Texas State and used to play against us in the MVC.

Another thing I noticed is that there are 8 regions of 8 teams and the teams actually play in their regions to reduce travel costs. Then once they get to the Elite 8 they are reseeded 1-8.

Also Dallas Baptist (MVC baseball member) made the D2 tournament, but lost by 2 in the first round.

We went to the final 4 last night and had a good time. All the praise of the Ford Center seems to be a little over hyped. It is new and has nice things such as concession stands, lights, etc. The place was loud for the USI game. I do think ISU has the better basketball arena. Do I think HC is better than the FC? No, I do not. HC is a better basketball arena however. It was built for basketball! The FC was built for Hockey and basketball. The baseline seats are too far away in a hockey arena. When HC is done we will have a great arena!
