Great game by ISU. You were the better team today.
Hope Bell is ok, good luck rest of the season. Hands down
This was the best defense we've faced all year.

Likewise you guys were the best D we've seen all year. Really like your front seven.

Good game by ISU. You beat us at our own game by playing good defense and not turning the ball over.
It's been said often tonight, but there must be something in the Fargo water that gives you all bountiful amounts of class. Today was a great day for Indiana State, maybe the BEST in our football history, but you are the program we emulate. What makes it more special is what we have recovered from in the past five years. Bisonville is as classy as it gets in collegiate sports, IMO.

We just got in from our 15 hour roadtrip. I can't say it any better than Bally did. Everywhere we went in Fargo we were treated kindly. Even at the stadium after the game, NDSU fans came up to us to congratulate us. I agree it must be in the Fargo water. I hope that we treat visiting teams with the same respect we received this weekend.

Thanks glad you made the trip, we get beat up on the Internet for being obnoxious, rude, etc....but mst of the time fans react to other fans. UNI brings a lot of negativity hence they get it ack etc.... That happens everywhere

Congrats again

I sat by and visited with NDSU fans last year when they visited the Haute. They were very nice people who had nothing but good to say of their time in Terre Haute. Their comments were much like yours Fridae00. I remember one of them, when talking about the Sycamores said that we were not that far away from being able to play with everyone in the Valley and win.

My second trip to North Dakota State and had another terrific experience. A few highlights: Went straight to your tailgating area (in an ISU jersey) and was immediately met and offered a beer and great conversation. Met two young men who played there a couple years ago and then met their father…talked about their travel to the National Championship last year and all said it was an amazing experience. Had a few strawberries filled with Amaretto and whipped cream (recipe will makes its way back to Terre Haute!). Very ironic, in that huge crowd I met #4’s (Smith) father. Ironic because his son is also a junior wide receiver, punt and kick returner… (you all need to find a way to get the ball in his hands more, great looking athlete).

Went down and was standing in the front row, 50 yard line on the ISU side to take a few pre-game pictures when and older mom and his wife (who I later found out owns several Chevrolet dealerships) offered me a seat next to them on the front row mid-field. I sat there the entire game in the midst of Bison fans and they were so very supportive and friendly all through the game as I jumped up and down cheering on our Sycamores. At half time I did have one older man (70’s) tell me to go back to f*%#ing Indiana…I extended my hand to shake his and he flipped me off lol. His wife was so embarrassed, I understood, just a great fan that didn’t care for me in their section!

After the game, nothing but pats on the back and congratulatory comments…class act and like others have mentioned, your success and environment is one ISU is using hoping to achieve in the upcoming years. Thank you again NDSU for the hospitality and best of luck the rest of your regular and post season.

Bison fans remind you of whats good about college fans and that fan bases can have class! Class acts from the school to the athletic program to it's great fans!

Thanks for taking the time to write this up, and share the details of your NDSU/ISU game experience.....this is one of the best posts in SP, in 2012. I especially liked the "At half time I did have one older man (70’s) tell me to go back to f*%#ing Indiana". Four of us had the same experience at the IU game this year, but it was more like "At half time I did have one older man (70’s) tell us to go back to f*%#ing Terre Haute". It was like music to my ears.

ah, i saw your RV roll in, tried to stop you. Oh well, NDSU played horrible, the O Coord was borderline retarded and QB brock jensen threw some bad passes.

Im hoping this will not happen again for NDSU, great win for you and I saw alot of great sportsmanship on behalf of NDSU fans. out of 18,000 sounds like 2-3 were a holes, that happens.

peace out, good luck and win some dam games.

I saw a lot of class out of ISU fans, why do you only credit NDSU fans?

I think the fact that they were the hosts and were by all accounts most gracious hosts says it all . I think alot of us are used to the Douchbags at Wichita and Creighton .
