men tie for 12th, women 6th

the ISU men tied for 12th place in the Blue Division (the more difficult race) in today's ND Invite, while the women were 6th in the Gold Division race. SIU has a couple front runners on the men's side that ISU could not match today, but after those 2 ISU matches up pretty well against SIU. Illinois St. has a couple good front runners, but not much after that. ISU's women were 7 points behind SIU in their race, so pretty close.

I think the guys were picked to finish around 18th comming into the meet - not sure how they walked away feeling about this one.

My understanding is that Disher and Ski (Lepkoski) went out really hard and paid for it in the end... Looks like Keeney is back to normal, he ran a pretty good meet! These guys are going to be alright and as deep as they are they can and will beat SIU. Let me say this much, I wouldn't sleep on this ISU team. They got beat a few weeks ago by a VERY good IU team, after looking at the results from this weekends meet IU has a pretty strong team. The Sycamores are going to hit stide (no pun) at the right time this year.... Don't sleep on the Sycs! :sycamores:
