Sounds like a sweet deal. I didn't realize all the buildings on campus with peoples names on them were a result of $$ donations. I assumed that we had some distinguished alums who were worthy of the honor. Maybe I was wrong. It has happened. I just think the name sounds bad.

I really think that even with my record setting low GPA and lackluster government employee career, I would be a distinguished alumni after donating $2.5-$5million

665.1.1.1 Named Building, new. 35 percent of the estimated cost.


665.1.1.2 Named Building, renovation. 50 percent of the estimated cost.


665.1.1.3 Named Building, exiting. $1,000,000 and above.


665.1.1.4 Named portion of building, new (e.g. conference room, seminar room, classroom). 35 percent of the estimated cost.


665.1.1.5 Named portion of building, renovation (e.g. conference room, seminar room, classroom). 50 percent of the estimated cost.


665.1.1.6 Named portion of building, existing (e.g. conference room, seminar room, classroom). $25,000 and above.

The Board of Trustees delegates to the President the authority to approve naming rights for gifts between $25,000 for new construction and renovation of existing buildings. The President will approve a set of naming opportunities at a level under $25,000 for each new construction or renovation project.
