The Odum Level
It looks great on TV tonight. Wish we could get this kind of turnout every game, but regardless of what the attendance number is, I hope I don't have to read more whining about it. The crowd has represented well!:)

And now that we're 2-5 in the Valley it's going to be hard to get more crowds like that, especially if we lose the next two road games as well. This is why losing at SIU, at Drake and at home to MSU is bad and not acceptable.

Great crowd, but does anyone else have a headache from watching the game with that out-of-focus, upper deck camera?

I was watching it in HD, and I'm guessing most people were.... was that me, or did anyone else have, the same problem with it being like 3 or 4, and not 1 or 2?

You know, like at the optometrist. Do you see better with 1 or 2, 3 or 4..... For me, I was definitely watching 3 or 4.

Absolutely correct bent. No one is going to want to watch this team with the way they're playing.

I mean even though I agree with you guys I'm not sure it does it any good to point it out - like what's the point? It's like stating the obvious - I don't know, I just want to hand to all the people who came out and followed directions, wore white and let the officials have it all night long (because they were terrible).

People are still going to come support the Sycamores, we have a lot of local kids and when we want to we play hard. The attendance has been up all season long and I don't think this Sycamore team is much better than some of those Harry Marshall teams to be totally honest. I think the big difference we have winners in the program now, we have kids that keep fighting - the Sycamores could have mailed it in tonight - we didn't get any calls and could never get over the hump - but we kept fighting. End result still a very disappointing loss.

I thought the crowd was really good, our effort was really good.............. Wichita just has better players than we do. I have no problem watching the team that showed up for us tonight win or lose; obviously I would rather they win, but at least the effort was there.

My only point is to not expect 10,000 or something crazy until we're doing something crazy, like at least going 5-2 to start valley play instead of 2-5.

We haven't done anything crazy since Mike Menser and Matt Renn - you might as well keep waiting ok. Larry Bird aint walking through the door any time soon. I think what we are getting so far this season is very solid. We've got some folks on here that like to blame the athletic department for bad marketing (I AM NOT TALKING TO ANYONE SPECIFIC, GENERAL STATEMENT) but the athletic department can't go out and win big games for the Sycamores and we have lost big games the past couple years that have proved to be momentum killers.

I'd be happy with tonight's crowd every night. Obviously we'll need more W's to get it higher than that.

Great atmosphere tonight. The band was great and the fans were into the game. I think Elgin was at the game tonight, wonder what he thought of the officials. They were horrible, we didn't get a break all night.

I don't think ghat espn U is an HD channel...

I can assure you it is. If you tuned in at 8pm, you would have seen the last few seconds of the Duke-Clemson game before our game and you would have seen a true HD game. As soon as our game came on I noticed that they were not using the "A" game equipment and yes, it was blurry to start. Was almost like they didn't set it up before hand and had to adjust on the fly.

The atmosphere was great tonight, students really did a great job too.We got beat by a better team,we still can't seem to hit the big shot when we really need it or get the stop on defense either.

We're on the same page. Absolutely agree, but as usual you don't seem to realize it.
