With a solid performance that included going up against the #3 team in the nation, Darrun Hilliard, a 6-6 sophomore from Villanova, has earned the StatSheet NCAA Player of the Week. StatSheet's NCAA Freshman of the Week is Devin Thomas from Wake Forest and JayVaughn Pinkston from Villanova is StatSheet's NCAA 6th Man of the Week. Hilliard put up an impressive 18 points per game, lifting the Wildcats to wins against 5th ranked Louisville and 3rd ranked Syracuse.
Hilliard had 50% shooting and 3 steals in 32 minutes in a close 73-64 win against Louisville. He then led the team in scoring (25) and added an additional 6 assists in a narrow 75-71 victory over Syracuse.
This is the first StatSheet NCAA Player of the Week award for Darrun Hilliard. The runner-up this week is South Dakota State senior Nate Wolters. Honorable mention goes to Otto Porter, a sophomore from Georgetown.

Devin Thomas played an average of 34 minutes starting both games for the Demon Deacons. In a hard-fought 86-84 win over NC State, Thomas led scoring and rebounding with 25 and 14, respectively. In an 82-62 loss to Georgia Tech, he led rebounding with 13 and also had 5 blocked shots.
This is the first StatSheet NCAA Freshman of the Week award for Thomas. The runner-up is JaKarr Sampson from St. John's. Honorable mention goes to Ryan Arcidiacono from Villanova.

Sophomore JayVaughn Pinkston averaged 24 minutes over the two games for the Wildcats. In the win over Louisville, Pinkston chalked up 11 points and 6 rebounds. Then in the win over Syracuse, he contributed 9 points and 9 rebounds.
This is the first time this season Pinkston has won the StatSheet NCAA 6th Man of the Week award. James Hulbin, a senior forward from Northwestern State, is runner-up. DeQuan Hicks, a junior forward from Northwestern State, wins honorable mention.
