Crossroads game.

We win, we hopefully get a little mojo back and build up some confidence on our home stand heading into conference play.

We lose, and even an optimist like myself will have to admit the wheels are coming off the season.

I look for us to get some mojo back.

I am repeating my post from 10 days ago. Nothing has happened to change my mind other than more doubt that we will actually win a single Valley game? There are a couple of Valley "ought to wins" but none that I would bet any money on?

Three more "possible" non-conference wins for this team; home games with Truman State, Eastern Illinois & UMKC. That makes six total IF they can win those three? I can't see any more than four more wins once the conference season starts; home with Loyola, Bradley & Drake and possible an "upset" of a team that comes in not ready to play. My bet is nine not ten for the season.

i'm not

While not Truman State, I am glad we're playing some weaker competition finally. We need a stretch of games where our guys can build some continuity and chemistry. This next 3 game stretch should be helpful in doing that.

Really? You've not seen ANY improvement from the Las Vegas Invitational to Iona?

Nope sorry Jason but I have not seen any more "team concept" development. They have no fire, no passion, no physical strength, not enough mental toughness, etc. etc. They are nine games into the season & this bunch just does not get it! If you score 100 and give up 101 you still lose. Played a different style at Iona, dictated by the competition, but that's it they scored more but defended less. I as well as most of you am extremely disappointed in the product on the floor this season. Been several years since the Sycamores were this weak. As poor as they are they should win the next three but then it will be quite some time before they get another win. No reason whatsoever to drop from the top half of the league to the bottom half or quite possibly the lowest spot of the lower half from one season to the next; inexcusable for the coaching staff and the players.

I don't know that the next three are all sure wins.

There isn't a sure win on our schedule this season outside of this game. What's worse, in years past we've played these exhibition type of games with no urgency and let teams hang around too long -- Was it Maryville that just wouldn't quit a couple years ago?

Don't forget, we got beat by UIndy in the early 2000's. A harbinger for the year...

Lots and lots of improvement! 52.5% shooting. We out rebounded them and had 20 assists to 14 TO's. Brown and Bennett both had 6 assists.
We'll get there. I've lowered my expectations to middle of conference, but there is no need to make predictions now -- just take each game as it comes.

Also, it was on the road. We were a 15 pt dog on Sagarin and we could have won it if we had made a few more plays.

Based on what I have seen from this team this year, not what I anticipated seeing, there is not an easy gome on the schedule. Why do I feel this way? I'll wait fo finish of the game tomorrow night.

Thinking I tend to agree with both of you. I may have over-estimated the likelihood of them winning the next three before they hit the skids again? Not sure that they can win any of them?

Is SycamoreVision loading for anyone?

Tried it on my home PC and work PC, two different Internet Service Providers and just spins on both. Tried both Internet Explorer and Chrome.
