About the black out? I know right - what the heck is the sports marketing department at Indiana State doing?

Well I am going to tell you what they are doing, more work in the past 2 or 3 years then they have in the past 20 years before this. Love all of the promo that they did for the football team this past fall and now the same level of support for the basketball team. We fans on here spend a lot of time giving our ideas to Indiana State on how to "fix things", I just want to say thanks for making every effort to making tomorrow a day that Indiana State basketball fans will point to toward the turning point for years to come! Thanks!:sycamores:

I know your not suggesting they will, but it really is the reason that we are fans of sports teams. It's part of sports, someone has to lose tonight - it's just a basketball game. Jake Odum made sure to acknowledge that in his pre game remarks in the Tribune Star.

“It’s just a game of basketball,” Odum said. “We don’t think too much ahead. It’s still early in the conference game. But win or lose [tonight] we still have to compete every day in practice and in the rest of the games.”

Again showing that he is very aware of the situation, but also understands that this is just 1 game and losing it does not end our season. I will not enter into the HC tonight expecting anything less of a win. My guess is the players will have the same expectation.

What happens if we flop anyway? Our attendance numbers drop to below 5,000 a game? LOL! They have been that for the last 10 years anyway... We really have very little to lose at this point. No one expects us to do anything in the Valley, outside of Terre Haute
