Game Winning Buzzer Beater FGs: At Least One

I think he will because of the games he missed while injured, had he played the entire season I think 1. ISU would have finished with more wins and higher in the MVC standings, and 2. Harry would have easily been 1st team all-MVC

These are my very same sentiments. He'll still be a lock on the All-MVC Defensive Team! There's no backcourt player even CLOSE to Harry in this regard.

The Big Shot (Heart and Soul)

Tremendous defense, scoring, and rebounding. How can he be denied! What aggressiveness and confidence on "that big shot" to win the game and fix their conference standing. What a way to end the conference season and career at the Hulman Center. Great Player.

Deserved ? Yes will he get it? No. Why ? he plays for the least respected program in the confrence. I think there should be a poll for Will KMAC win COY honors

Harry is a special player, one with heart and determination that doesn't come along very often even at the "big" schools. He has gotten more out of his God given talent than 99% of all players. He is, frankly, the best lock down defender in the conference. He is the leading scorer in the conference, and is in the top ten in several catagories. He is capable of taking the team on his back, of taking a game over all by himself. He is worthy of not only First Team, but also Player of the Year.

He'll be lucky to sniff second team. Such is the lack of respect ISU gets from the MVC.

I hope I'm totally off base on my conclusion...

Yess he deserves it because he is one of the top players in our conference. He is also the heart and soul of our team. His leadership on the court, without question is the best in the the MoVal. So yes, he should deff be on the first team, but I am not expecting anything. I sure do hope he gets it though!

Does the Valley recognize the leading scorer/rebounder/assists etc based on Conf. games, all games or both?

That's up to each voter. Most that I've read or heard discuss it say they use only conference stats, as it equalizes the statistical landscape. But, Harry is totally at the mercy of the SIDs and sportswriters who vote...

Seriously? The let the voter decide on the criteria? That's pretty freakin' whacked?!

Seriously -- it's all about the numbers -- Harry LED the MVC in Scoring during the Conference Season; O. Eldridge led the MVC for the season -- there should NOT be any 'voting' to it.

Now as to MVP / POY / Newcomer, etc sure that makes sense but recognizing the statistical leaders -- No Brainer!
