The Kleuh Level
Organized and accompanied (along w/ Dr. Richard Pierard) a group of college students on a Summer,1973 European History Study-Abroad Tour that I was a part of. A 3 1/2 week experience in Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Isle of Capri & France, which became a planning nightmare while in Italy, after the trains, buses, post office and hospitals all went on strike.

He lived for 30 yrs. after having a heart transplant...just one example of his zest for living. Wonderful man...

Had both Dr. Clouse and Dr. Pierard for classes in 1970-71. They were the stars of the History department, well respected scholars and good professors.

Never forget an incident while in Rome and touring the Pantheon, when Clouse & Pierard ran into one of their "buddies" @ ISUE, Prof. Donald Layton & his group. Clouse yelled, "It's a small World!"
