Ducks Win In Walk-Off--Sycamores to Face Austin Peay Saturday At 5:00 (ET)

Oregon won in a walk-off in the ninth, winning 6-5. Austin Peay's closer hit two batters and another was intentionally walked to load the bases with one out. An infield hit to the mound had the A-P pitcher trying to tag the runner out. He was called safe to tie the score...even though the Oregon runner appeared to run out of the baseline to tie the score. Then Oregon had the winning run score on an infield hit.

Saturday's game will start at 5:00 (ET).

Can't believe that Purdue & Valpo are playing THIS LATE in Gary...UK's in the losers round now, so they won't have to worry. 21 inning loss - 7-6...tell me that won't drain the 2nd game psyche of Valpo & PU & piss off the tailgaters, who probably ran out of food & beer...and had a police escort after leaving the game!
