Jake 0 points on 0-0 fg and 3 fouls in the first half. Found his way in the 2nd but it was too late. The good news is they only play Duke 1 more time this year. The bad news is its on the road. Jake spends alot of time in the corner like he's in timeout. When he gives up the ball he almost never gets it back.
Thanks for telling me that Jake is having a good season and sending me those links. I didn't know that and didn't know those stats were available. No I don't want Jake to run point. I would just like for his teammates to look his way a bit more seeing that he scores so efficiently. He's #2 for Wake in points and ppg... AND assists per game. he's leading the team in FG%
He's likely not going to join the 50/40/90 club but his line is 60/38/74... I'd take that line for the 2021-22 Trees

You'd prefer if he was running the point for the Deacons?
Geezus. I posted his stats first, then Mr. Copy Cat did it 2nd. See Post #4. Reminds me of the old FedEx commercial. Thanks for telling me that Jake is having a good season and sending me those links. Dude. So I saw your stats in post #4. My first 2 sentences were pure sarcasm. I actually had a big long response to 4Q since those stats being linked and my last sentence was made bold. Before I finished it I just deleted it all and posted what you commented on. Just figured it wasn't worth it.Geezus. I posted his stats first, then Mr. Copy Cat did it 2nd. See Post #4. Maybe I need to add some hand signals next time.
I have my Masters degree from Wake, in school from 93-95, then worked at Wake from 95-99, so I was there for the entire Tim Duncan, Randolph Childress, Rusty LaRue, Ricky Peral (lol), coach Dave Odum, assistant coach Russell Turner ERA, those were the golden years of Wake Forest Basketball.....fun times indeed, used to just see those guys walking around in reynolda gym (where I was all the time) and could just talk with them. This was pre-internet days, so it was much less stressful.I watch every Wake game that I can. I lived in North Carolina in the 1970's and adopted Wake as my N.C. team. I have followed the basketball and football programs at some level of intensity ever since. Two of the greatest players of the modern era (Tim Duncan and Chris Paul) wore the black and gold.
With Dave Clawson at the helm, it is a new golden era for Wake Football and if he ever gets 4 star recruits in quantity the sky is the limit. The developing picture for Wake basketball under Steve Forbes is equally promising.
Jake has the confidence of the coaching staff and his teammates. He seldom leaves the floor unless it is due to foul trouble or the game is under control.
I this the VA squad ranked a few notches above Bellarmine in RPI?Wake goes on the road this afternoon and beats Virginia 63-55 in front of 13,000+ Virginia fans.
Laravia leads WFU in scoring with 15 and contributes across the board with for rebounds and a touch of everything else.
