I was refering to E-ville media...the town does have alot of athletic talent and has been kind to ISU in years past.

Not much of a bash

Since when do 'USI_Fans' constitute the evansville media?!

Note that it was the son of a friend that made the comment...

That's right up there w/ saying my cousin's boyfriend's niece's babysitter's baby daddy heard his neighbor say that Terre Haute was in central indiana...

Anyone w/ ties to ISUE is suspect.

They should know better...TH is just outside Chicago, which is a major reason why bootlegging was such a prosperous enterprise for Hautean's during Prohibition.:p

That is the perhaps one of the most idiotic statements I have ever seen. Not only is one of those "well I heard" things, but anyone that would say that ISU looks like downtown is just a moron. It is a beautiful campus, every bit as "park like" as USI. Though USI has a "lake" and that is a nice feature of campus...ISU is beautiful and was ranked in some poll or whatever for being a "tree" campus or "green". Either way, ISU looks nothing like downtown...trust me I go into some of the worst areas of "downtown" Indy everyday...places I would never go after dark and not one part of Terre Haute is like that. Lets invite this guy down to Haughville at 10 PM on a Friday and see if he wants to compare the two...Just because USI is "outside" of E-ville off its own exit and there is literally nothing within about 2-3 miles other than housing...is no reason for a statement like that.

Oh well...I do love the 1st amendment....I just love that I can clarify things with my own opinions. :sycamores:

One more thing...

I'd also wager that the majority of kids from Evansville have never been to Indianapolis; without a DIRECT, Interstate from Evansville to Indy; there's NO WAY  for the citizens of Evansville to travel to Indy!

Thought Evansville had...

already seceded...

You mean Evansville is IN Indiana? WTH?! Why have I always thought that it was part of Kentucky?! Can't be the love the slather on uk? Can't be the idiotic time-zone issue?! Can't be their backwards attitude towards Indy?!?!

What can it be...
