This is big for ISU and wasn't easy to do. Currently ISU has 5 ABET programs and 8 ATMAE programs. The new engineering degrees will soon be ABET and ISU will have 6+ ABET programs (potentially 8 depending on how they apply) which will make the college unusual. I would classify them as an engineering and technology hub for the state. 14+ accredited engineering and technology programs is quite unusual. I hope they market themselves and can establish big funding for engineering research. Full blown engineering college now.
Currently, ISU is 2nd in Indiana when considering the quantity of accredited engineering and technology degrees via ABET and ATMAE. Only Purdue has more.
I would like to Computer and/or Electronics Engineering added.
Most people think Ball State has an abet accredited architectural degree but they don't. ABET Architectural Engineering is on the near horizon for ISU and will be the only one in Indiana. BIG.
