They've earned it. Hopefully there will be a reference to our win next year.

That said, I watched ESPN college gameday yesterday and had to turn it off. The way they down played the Oklahoma State story, the Johnny Manziel drama, etc., it's obvious they're nothing more than an informercial promoting the top level teams of college football each week.

They have become much more about entertainment and human interest stories, then actual reporting. It is usually too much of a pep rally atmosphere to being it down by having a story on a scandal.

Glad they will be in North Dakota next week. A few of the BCS schools should be taking notes if they want to know how to build and run a solid program. Fans are terrific, facilities are great, passion for the team is off the chart and their coaching staff is outstanding.

That is awesome! The atmosphere at NDSU is unreal. Great tailgating scene, town painted in gold and green, and loud sold out stadium (plus an awesome light show in the pre-game). Our trip up there last year was one I'll never forget (doesn't hurt that we won! but just to see the support for their team was really cool). Glad to see ESPN is giving some love to the FCS.

Agree with everything said in this thread. This is great for the MVC,FCS and NDSU. They are the benchmark for ALL FCS programs and like others have said the game day experience there is unlike any others and I've been to Tennessee which is pretty special in its self.

Amazing the turn out for gameday. We cant even get that many people to a game. That's the program everyone dreams of having.

Wouldn't it be fun to have fans like that? Especially the students. Hell, our students would be too hungover to drag their asses out of bed to do what the NDSU students have done today. Tommy is slowly making progress, though. I just admire the PRIDE that those Bison have for their school. That whole thing up there - school, students, fans - they do it RIGHT. Would love to see it here...

I knew that their fan base was intense but that turnout was unreal. the ESPN guys certainly sang their praise. i was afraid one of those balconies didn't collapse like they did in new orleans a few years back. great fans, great facilities and a great university. nice job, bison (bi-zon)~
