It sucks for Florida State, I get it. But, in my opinion, Alabama is a better team. Should be way more equitable next year.

In my view the only reason Alabama made it is because of Nick Saban. They should have lost to Auburn last weekend, and they've struggled with other mediocre teams all year (USF, Arkansas, TX A&M). I'd rather see the team play that actually earned it by going undefeated all season than a 10 point loss at home Alabama team that has been inconsistent all year.

The head of the committee essentially said it wanted the 4 best teams. There is little doubt that Alabama has the best, deepest roster in the nation. It typically has 25-30 five star players on its roster. The question I have is how does it ever lose a game to an FBS opponent when it is playing probably 12-15 guys who are going to play in the NFL.

If Alabama lost two games and the criteria was still which team on paper is one of the best four most talented teams in the country, it would still make the cut.

Thank God this goes away starting next year. We will still be arguing about who is 12th and who is left out, but in reality, the chance of actually having the best team in the field will be near 100% and that has certainly not been the case with only four.

I would love to see Ohio State, Oregon, FSU, LSU, Liberty/JMU, Clemson, Ole MIss, and some others get a chance to go at these top four after a couple of weeks of preparation and healing.

Would you put $500 on a neutral field on Alabama or Florida State?
