I'm watching the SEMO/SIU game and the Salukis are getting the brakes beat off of them. It's 37-14 in the 3rd.

Only player that has been impressive for SIU has been the RB Davis. Has good speed and he finds ways to get yards after contact.

It appears SDSU is the only one that actually showed up to play. They just took a 21 to 20 lead on Minnesota in the 3rd Q.

Well, 1-4 so far.

SDSU fought valiantly. Keep in mind this is not the start WE need when it comes to conference SOS metrics if it comes down to us needing help at the end of the year. Better win 8 games outright.

Remaining games on Saturday:

Us at Kansas
UNI at Iowa State
Montana at South Dakota
Butler at North Dakota State
Illinois State at Northern Illinois

SDSU was the better team. However their RFr QB made two big turnovers that ended up costing them the game (a pick 6 and a fumble late in the game when they were up by 1). Then they had a KR for a TD that was called back for holding.

Butler is playing NDS at Target field, I'm sure that's the first for the Bulldog players to play in a big stadium like Target. I notice Micheal Tutsie (ISU recruit and is from Warren Central) is starting SS, very impressive for only a soph.

I wonder what the spread is in this game I predict NDS by 45 ??

I read that the Jacj Rabbits gave the Gophers a good game last night 21-28

SIU isn't the program they used to be 10 years ago. Good for us:) They have been a home game away from home for us, the past 4 wins in Carbondale.

I wasnt surprised with any of those. those are the teams I had at the bottom except SDSU. I also knew nothing about North Alabama.

on a side note, i didnt get to see much of the SDSU game but was that QB's throwing form awful or was it me?

I just read about the IS and NIU record against each other, kind of surprising Series: NIU leads 25-22-9 (last in 2000) That's impressive for the Red Birds playing an FBS school. Obviously this would never happen, just a silly thought but it would be very entertaining to have the MVCF all-stars play the MAC all-stars at the end of the season. Hell, add basketball to that fantasy :)
