Nice list but without googling it who one that tournament last year? So does it really matter?

I see your point - it probably doesn't matter much to anybody who is not a fan of those schools listed. But, I bet it did/does matter to the team and its fans that won the tournament. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't really matter all that much and it won't drastically help recruiting either, but in the end I guess I still have yet to fully understand anyone's strong objection with playing as much basketball as possible.

As for this game, I think we win. SIU has a knack for mucking-up a game, so I won't predict by how much, but I think we come out firing on all cylinders and take care of business at home. Losing to MSU on Wednesday almost assuredly means we won't be looking ahead to WSU. We HAVE to win this game.

I'm only for playing in those tournaments if we're going to play to win. We haven't played to win in a tournament since 2011. And a couple of those tournaments, we could have won.

I've got a better question...I haven't looked it up yet but are any of those teams significantly improved this year over last?? I mean did playing in those tournaments help them the following year. Be interested to see how many it helped

How many did it hurt?

If you can prove that in a model, you should volunteer to help the weather scientists on their climate change models.

Game Time!

Place looks pretty empty so home court is negligible. Hopefully what students made it in can be super loud today.

Holy shit... they just panned out. If there are 500 people there I'd be shocked. Student section is also really empty.

How much snow dropped in Terre Haute? Res Halls snowed in, eh?

Before the last commercial they must have used a prerecorded video because there were about 50

Nevermind... it was a earlier shot for a player feature. Looks better. Whew... if we had less than Loyola had last week I was going to be PISSED.

Scott kicks a SIU pass. Ball out. Smith pressures SIU defender and steps on sideline.

Kitch backdoor to Gant. 4-0.

Gant with a step back jumper. 6-2 Sycamores.

SIU with a elbow jumper. 6-4 ISU.

Kitch with a reversal and Brown fouled driving baseline.

Kitch to a streaking Gant for a dunk. 8-4 Sycamores.
