Let's keep this little bit of momentum going and get a road win tomorrow!

Good three point shooting and good defense might just be enough to take down the Braves.

I was curious how many times we've won back to back games in the month of February, so here are the 2 (or more) game win streaks we've had since 2012

2012 - won back to back games the 11th and 14th

2013 - won back to back games the 6th and 9th

2014 - won 4 straight on the 9th, 12th, 15th, and 19th.

2015 - didn't win any back to back games

2016 - didn't win any back to back games

2017 - won back to back games on the 8th and 11th

2018 - won back to back games on the 21st and 24th

so that's it, only one time in that stretch did we have more than a 2 game win streak in the month of February, and in 2 seasons we never won back to back games. And people wonder why we always talk about our #FebruaryCollapse

2 things that make us match up well with Bradley:

1) Bradley fouls a lot...third worst in the Valley at free throw rate allowed. We get to the line more than any other team and we shoot free throws very well at 74% (just barely second in the league by 2 tenths of a percent). If guys like Williams, Key and Barnes continue to attack the basket, we can make our money at the charity stripe today. We also foul a lot, but Bradley doesn’t get to the line very well as a team overall.

2) Bradley doesn’t force many turnovers, which should allow us to play fast (we play at one of the fastest tempos in the league) and hopefully limit mistakes.

On paper we are slightly better than Bradley. With this being a road game I expect it to be close despite our statistical advantages. ISU wins 67-65, and our march to 6th place gets a little bit closer.

I sure hope our men don't suffer the same fate the ISU women did at Bradley last night, good lord, did anyone else see the absolute epic collapse the ISU women suffered in the span of 4 minutes in the 4th quarter last night? We were up 77-60 and in the span of 4 minutes Bradley tied the score and won by one point.

Here is the short version of what happened, just horrible mistakes by the ISU women. No way they should have lost this game. I was watching the 4th quarter when we were up 17 and told myself I bet we'll find a way to blow this game, and we did.

On a different note, I like that arena. Would be perfect size for the Sycamores. Is it new?

Renaissance coliseum. Seats 4,200. Opened in 2010, adjacent to the men’s practice facility and the6 use it for women’s games. Nice looking place.

It's a very nice place indeed, I bet they built the entire facility for less than we're spending to redo the Hulman Center. Would be great if we could build a 5500-6000 seat facility like that with the $$ we're using for the HC remodel
