After 50 rounds and 1,521 picks, the Major League Baseball Draft concluded Thursday but not before five Sycamores heard their name called. Those drafted included Nick Ciolli (10th round, 313th overall to the Chicago White Sox), Brady Shoemaker (19th round, 583rd pick overall to the Chicago White Sox), Bronco Lafrenz (22nd round, 677th pick overall to the Philadelphia Phillies), Jacob Petricka (34th round, 1035th pick overall to the New York Yankees) and Eric Valdez (35th round, 1043rd pick overall to the Seattle Mariners).
