Football Golf Fundraiser in Las Vegas

A message from former Indiana State offensive lineman Stu Sevald.....

Alumni, ISU Faculty & Administration,Terre Haute Community,and Friends of the ISU football Program.

Trent Miles and myself would like to invite you to the 1st ISU Football Las Vegas Golf Invitational.

The golf tournament is about bringing all ISU football supporters together to enjoy a fun filled weekend of cheers, reacquainting and golf.

Schedule Events:

Thursday July 14th: Early Bird get together.

Friday July 15th: Vegas Night with ISU Celebrity Dealers.

Saturday July 16th: Golf Tournament , Awards Lunch and Ceremonies at Dragon Ridge Country Club.

Needles to say, this is a huge endeavor to put together and I welcome any assistance from people if they can spend the time. I can be reached at [email protected] or (702) 236-4588.

All proceeds will be donated to the ISU Football Program.

July in Vegas?? I can think of better times to play golf than Vegas in July...

Not to be critical, but why not do something that will cost less money in travel and hotel reservations, and ask people instead to donate that money to the program? Guess I'm too low budget.

Stu Sevald is putting this together and he lives in Las Vegas....

the golf outing is primarily for those former players and alums who live out that way...but Stu also wanted to include those fans, boosters, and former players in terre haute who might be interested in heading out to Las Vegas for a few days.....

there are going to be other golf outings as well in the chicago area, hosted by former indiana state offensive lineman john wayhart, in June and in terre haute (the annual Jay Barrett/Ballyhoo Indiana State Football Golf outing) in late April.....

also, former players in the western pennsylvania area are trying to put together a golf outing fundraiser in the pittsburgh area for alums who live out that way......

I just think there might be more participation from midwesteners IF it was during Jan-Feb in Indiana!

BUT that might compromise the ability or cost of playing at Dragon Ridge...

I heard the outing before the spring game may have 2 sessions this year. its always a great time.

in order to have coach miles at the las vegas event,

it couldnt be held in january or february since that is right in the middle of recruiting season.....
