Smith made a verbal commitment Saturday to play for the Sycamores starting in the 2011-12 season. The 6-foot-5 forward wanted to repay the loyalty he felt Lansing had in him during his high school career.

There is no question that Lansing is a great recruiter...still not so sure about the coaching part yet
