What if? Seems I remember someone posted regularly on here for several months and think it was Van Fleet's uncle when he was being recruited in high school being somewhat adamant and upset why Indiana State was not actively persuing him? Like he really wanted to come to ISU? Don't think I am dreaming?

IDK but if so we missed out. The kid can handle pressure well and has done a good job so far.

You're not dreaming, just misremembering. Van Vleet's uncle is apparently an ISU alum and was upset that ISU was not actively recruiting his nephew, but I don't recall ever seeing anything that said Van Vleet himself was upset by it.

His uncle was upset, many members of this forum were upset at the lack of effort we put into him because his uncle is an alum here and would have advocated on our behalf.

I'm sure VanFleet himself doesn't feel slighted in the least, he ended up in the same conference for a superior program.
