Makes sense to me. I have to think quite a few will take advantage of it.

And in other news, the University of Kentucky men's basketball team has announced they are leaving the NCAA and will now compete in the NBA G League.

Kids want to be adults. Guess we'll see if there truly is a market that all of the "pay for play" advocates talk about.

Last time I checked, the G League had negligible attendance and TV ratings. I think people seriously underrate the NCAA exposure machine.

All joking aside about the money kids make playing big-time college basketball...giving up the constant TV exposure, massive crowds, coeds, etc. will be a lot considering they'll be playing in exotic locals like Fort Wayne in front of a few hundred people a night.
