Game shuttle for ISU students

"Need a ride to the Football game tomorrow??? The athletic department is providing a bus free of charge to transport ISU students from 5th street by the fountain to Memorial Stadium at 1pm! Contact Katie Gaal at [email protected] or extension 4092 with any questions!!"

Way to go ISU. I am not aware they have done this is in the past but we should be pleased that someone saw the light at the university and got this done! Great move.

They did it in my days too (yes they had buses in those days too) but I am not sure they have been doing it at all for the past five years or so. That should help. It's too bad that the weather isn't going to be letter perfect because my guess is that they might have had 7-8,000 had it been super nice. My guess is that it will drizzle a bit off and on but not a bad day for the most part. ANY day is a good day to tailgate with your friends, don't you think? I was just surprised they had cars...lol

Other than having to "crank them up" and a rough ride, they worked pretty well and were MUCH faster than horses~
