DT Shariff Floyd had accepted impermissible benefits during recruiting, was suspended and forced to repay the $$$. After his suspension and @ age 20 (well past the legal threshold), he was adopted by Kevin Lahn, who was exiled from his alma mater South Carolina in 2011 during a different NCAA infractions case.

Recall "The Blind Side," a movie about Mississippi offensive lineman Michael Oher, an '09 Ravens 1st round draft pick. Same thing.
