Gibson Track and Field, a $4 million facility on a 10-acre tract on the Wabash Riverfront, was dedicated Friday, marking a major event for the university and for Terre Haute's Riverscape project.

Sycamores Christen New Track With Wins on Day Two of Gibson Invitational

Indiana State track and field posted four wins as it held a dedication to the new Gibson Track and Field on day two of the Gibson Invitational on Friday.

not sure why the meet results weren't updated live, they're all posted now, hopefully tomorrow they'll post results as they happen. Can't see there'd be anything wrong?

some highlighted results for ISU

All American Katie Wise wins the 100 and 200

Alethia Marrero continues to show her wide range of talent, winning the 400 meter hurdles in 58.40, that time is one of the top 20 times in the nation folks! Impressive!

Sydney Dickerson with a 2:12.64 800, which may be a PR for her

Jaynard Keys wins the men's 100 into the wind in 10.91

Jonathan Jackson wins the men's 400 meter hurdles in 51.80, that time places him in the top 40 of the nation.

Kimyana Rudolph wins the women's pole vault.

Jamie Newsome wins the women's triple jump, just under 40 feet

Walker and Rutz go 2-3 in the women's Shot put, near 50 feet

Former ISU football player DeSean Prentice nearly clears 7 feet in the HJ, going 6-10.75", pretty good

meet is still ongoing. Nice day, good crowd, thanks to all for coming out for this!
 
respectable steeplechase races from the 3 ISU men's runners. Horsman runs 9:22.59, Hambrock PR's with a 9:34, while Swem runs 9:42.97
 
women's 4 x 400 meter relay runs 3:41.50, 5th best in ISU history, 3:38.76 is the school record
 
Sycamore Men and Women Claim Team Victories at Gibson Invitational

A strong showing by the men's and women's Indiana State Track and Field squads resulted in victories for both squads at the Gibson Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

in the men's 4 x 400 meter relay, ISU was 2nd in 3:16.43, so getting better with the relays as the season progresses.

Sycamores win both meets easily as a team.
