Two outstanding scholars of the African American experience in America. Well worth your time to attend if you live in the area. The books of these two scholars are reported to be authoritative and written with verve and passion. Listen to them and read their works and decide for yourself. Bringing scholars of this caliber to ISU is part of what every great university does as a matter of course. Congratulations to the Dept. of History for their fine 40th Anniversary programming and to the Dept. of English for helping to sponsor the Arnold Rampersad appearance.
