Some banter on the other board about HM. The tribstar lists him as "Probable w/foot injury" in the article about the game tonight. Another poster says he didn't travel with the team to Toledo? Do we have another Harry Marshall drama brewing?

It's been brewing... Become a Varsity Club member and find out exactly what might be brewing. I can't say if he did or didn't travel with the team to Teledo, but I can tell you he was not at 2 practices this week. Something is up and it aint a foot injury.

I think he's done....
 
It's been pretty obvious all season long that even though they play some good games there is dissension on this team and from all appearances Harry is the dissenter? If that is in fact the problem, sometimes addition by subtraction is the only cure. Fortunately for this team the depth at guard can overcome such a loss no matter who the player is.

However we were not sure if we should bring it to the public forum yet, hate to bring rumors to a public forum with little information to support. But you my friend have been hearing and are seeing the same things we are!
 
I have posted a couple times that Kelly and Marshall are having problems co-existing and that was just from observing and many years of coaching experience, so this does not surprise me. I said in an earlier thread that Marshall has discipline issues and I stand by that statement. The cancer may be to the point where it needs to be removed.

Agreed! I have felt that for some time now, but just hadn't said it yet. The next few games will prove very interesting. If there is no Harry, I'm betting that team chemistry improves.

You've been great, but some sort of disclaimer would be nice. It's sorta understood when you pay, you get access. I don't see anything wrong with letting other posters know it might not be right away. That's only fair.

Agreed, in my opinion, 5 days is more than enough time.

1) I haven't seen Svoboda around in a few days...think he's the guy that needs to activate a paying member.

2) Please watch the speculation on this board...remember that players will likely be seeing this...not even I know what goes on in practices/team meetings and such.
 
Little Eddie I think we are all just trying to find out what's going on, it's really no secret that they want these things to stay hush hush and it's whatever I really don't want to get into one of those arguments. Because you have a group of people who don't think it's any of our business and you have a group of people that think it is our business.

Which ever side of the fence you sit on you would have to agree that this said "rumors" are not created by us. It's really to bad that things have to keep happening that lead us to discuss it on the message boards. Harry missed a few practices this week and it wasn't because of an injury. I hope he reads this message: Harry don't play in the Rec Center, I would hate for you to get hurt and it end your senior year. Don't let yourself down and don't let your team down by being careless. Your division 1 career is almost over, make the most of it - once it's over, it's over!
 
Wthitv.com has it up now. Made it sound as if it may just be a one game suspension. However, when do you say enough is enough?

Everyone might want to calm down now. Coach just said in his post game interview that Marshall will definitely be back and it is short term.

Why bring him back at all. Look at his body of work:

1. Ineligible for 1st Semester, Junior Yr.
2. Suspended Preseason, Senior Yr
3. Suspended Toledo, Senior Yr.

Who does he think he is ....TO??

I guess I really don't understand it, kid is coming from a small community in So. Indiana, but acks like a thug from Brooklyn.

Cut the string!!!
 
Hard to argue in his favor Bent... How many times does a kid have to violate team rules or whatever before enough is enough? I mean we are 10 games into the season and still have to deal with this shi*.... Come on - I just want to watch a team play ball, I am tired of having to talk about Harry being suspended. Bull!
 
After the game, Coach said they hoped to get him back soon. He didn't sound like it was a big deal. Overslept for a final or something?
