Title says it all, but it has been mostly funded through the Lilly Grant and apparently they will not be renewing as they're "going in another direction" or some nonsense. This is a real shame on several fronts -- that is a high value program within the School of Business. Most of those kids I've met were sharp as hell and ended up being very successful after leaving State.

It also reaches over into athletics because I know quite a few baseball players have been Networks members over the years and finding them money can be difficult since D1 baseball only allows for 11.7 scholarships for up to a 35 man roster.

Another feather in Debbie Curtis’ cap. You can say this wasn’t her, but since she took over, ISU has done everything half-assed. Losing this very prestigious program will further erode the visibility and credibility of ISU. She’s making all our degrees worth less as the school becomes a laughing stock.

And the BOT does nothing.

Is the program going to shutter or is it merely speculation?

I heard Curtis was behind the "return" of the Panama Canal and the abundance of solar flares
