His magazine was the best reference for basketball in the State of Indiana for decades...I recall him PERSONALLY peddling HB @ HC during the "early" years.

GARRY DONNA QUALIFIES AS AN ICON OF INDIANA BASKETBALL

Donna worked hard to put out an accurate product. This year was the 47th issue. I think he has been inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
Donna was a native of Vermillion County (either Blanford or Clinton) and was raised in Clinton. He owned and operated a Putt-Putt miniature golf course in Terre Haute for nearly 28 years (1978-2005)

Every time I talked with him, just 2 or 3 times for a few minutes each, I came away feeling like I had just visited with the Donald Davidson of Indiana basketball.
