A few days late, but make your predictions here on what you think the Sycamores record will be at seasons end. This does NOT include the post-season - just regular season. As you might recall I predicted correctly last year 17-13 so if you want to follow my lead I completely understand.

10-2 during non conference play.
12-6 during conference play.

22-8 Overall.

You've proven to be so good at this, why would I even want to try? I'll just go with what you said!!! J/K...

24-6 Overall (losses @ND, Harvard, and conference losses)
14-4 MVC (losses @Wichita, @UNI, @Bradley, @MSU)

By God, we've got to avoid the ridiculous losses that constantly plague us. This is the year!!!

Well, I'm actually very surprised that SSOM has picked us to win the Great Alaskan Shootout.

But I love it, cuz I agree!

For the poll, I chose 23+

And hoping above all hopes that we beat either ND or St. Louis.

I'm going with an even 20. For the past few years, I said I'd be content with a winning record, but after the bad finish last season, I wasn't very satisfied. This year we should at least get to 20, I hope. Road games in the Valley are always difficult, so I have a hard time going much higher.

If they don't make the NCAA tourney this year, it's nothing but a disappointment

Agree---its time to develop an attitude that this yr is different! Natives will get very---very restless if the Trees don't come out strong---stay strong and roll on into the NCAA! NIT is not exceptable with the Srs and talent on this team!

Loyola instead of Creighton might help our wins, but it will hurt our RPI. We have to make "big" games count for us by winning.

Nobody is. Why would you say something silly like that?

Thought the same thing but didn't bother.

In fact, if someone thought we were going to win 15 to 18 games this season I would totally understand. It certainly wouldn't suggest that they would be happy with that or that would be acceptable.

10-2 non conference (losses @Belmont and @St. Louis, Beat Harvard and Norte Dame, sounds like something our team would do)

13-5 conference

23-7 sole possession of 2nd in the valley and one game from 1st place WSU.

21-9 with 2 out of 4 against Wichita x 2, notre dame and stl and no bad home losses gets us an at large 12 seed, I believe. Anything better would surprise me. If I was a bettin man I'd put money on the nd game that they beat the Irish, but they're just as likely to lay an egg in Carbondale, again. I guess we'll see. Gotta start by beating ball state tomorrow. Over the past few yrs this team has been bad about playing up and down to the level of their competition minus a couple games. I'd love to see that change and when they are up, keep the throttle down and blow the bad teams out, at home and on the road.
