The White Level
What does it really mean…?
- It means all the hrs spent driving to/fr FB practices/games since 3rd grade.
- It means all the summers days lost on vacation to FB practice/camps.
- It means all my motivation speeches and storytelling.
- It means all my white lies how well I did in school/football.
- It means all his hard work and sweat.
- It means all his accolades.
- It means all the people that played a role (Coaches/Teachers/Mentors).
- It means all the family commitments/sacrifices.
- It means all our hope and dreams.
…. WAS WORTH IT! I am feeling so Blessed to read on his profile from the NCAA website today: “D1 qualifier!” I don’t think a lot of people realize all the stress and worry that a parent goes through during the whole process. Of course there are those moments of excitement/joy and this was a big one, its official now. But as one Coach said to me during the recruiting process: “Once in college, it all starts over again,” I understand, but for now I am relaxed and happy… until August 30th where it begins again. lol
