I wish WTWO would stop broadcasting the big home games

WTWO should save the budget to broadcast far away road games, preferably earlier in the season to get the local community excited about the team...just a thought.
 
You all should just be thankful that a local TV station has signed on to cover the Sycamores be it at home or on the road. I can't imagine that they have a huge viewership when they are at home. I am just happy that we still have someone to cover the Sycamores. In case you haven't noticed, the Sycamores haven't been very good for a very long time... Hence the reason people are so darn excited about a team that is 6-1. I mean don't get me wrong I'm more excited than Christmas here, but let's get real. If people don't have something to complain about - well they wouldn't know what to do.

alot of times they never list the game. when the game starts just check the site every few minutes and it usually comes up as an option.

I doubt WTWO has a big budget and highly doubt they would ever do road games. I think by having the games on local TV we're more likely to pick up some interest from alumni and residents. Maybe more come in the future as a result. People who have a mild interest might see a game, get excited and come out. Otherwise, they won't ever bother to come at all.
 
as somebody who lives in indianapolis, i think they should...

put the games on home team sports on cable over this way.....show it live in indy...and then tape delayed at like 11:30 p.m. in terre haute......channel 2 owns channel 59, i think....much like channel 8 in indy also owns channel 10 (myindychannel)....and they show butler games, high school games, etc on that channel.....they could do the same thing there....

indy is 75 miles away.....so i dont think it would hurt the home crowd as much.....plus it would give indiana state some much needed publicity and promotion in the state's biggest metro area.....

good for recruiting...good for potential fundraising.....

Unless it's Evansville,Illionis State or Bradley that's about as far as thier budget will allow although it was nice to get the Oral Roberts game earlier this season.
